I couldn't resist. I had to try slicing my flower canes. Well, the going was ok but it would have been better with the better blades. I think I got the hang of making flower canes using translucent clay. It seems in order to get those really pretty flower cane-covered items you have to make the canes and surround/fill them in with translucent. Since they're going to be on something that might get banged around I'm not sure if I want to polish them.
